INSPIA project was presented at the 1st Global Soil Biodiversity Conference held in Dijon (France), 2-5 December, 2014. In this framework, INSPIA was shown as an interesting tool to enable achieve sustainable agriculture through the implementation of Best Management Practices (BMPs) and the measurement and monitoring of a set of defined indicators. INSPIA promotes sustainable practices that protect biodiversity, soils and water and contribute towards maintaining ecosystems services. BMPs are capable of significantly enhancing soil biodiversity, being based on minimum soil disturbance, permanent soil cover, and crop rotations.
